Michelle A. Daniel is an award-winning executive producer and screenwriter with over 15 years of experience in independent film and digital storytelling. As the creator of ShowRunHer, she has developed and overseen a vast catalog of content that challenges narratives, sparks conversations, and inspires audiences.

Michelle has served as the Director of Video at TV One’s iOne Digital, where she collaborated with major brands such as AT&T, Ford, and Wells Fargo. She is the Co-Executive Producer of the short film Announcements, written and directed by D’Angelo “D’Lo” Louis (Creed III, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever). Announcements is a gripping exploration of youth violence, emphasizing themes of empathy, resilience, and community, urging audiences to engage in meaningful dialogue for change.

In addition to her work on Announcements, Michelle is the Executive Producer of 8:38, a suspenseful short film directed by Imole Ladipo, which follows a young woman with fragmented memories who hides in terror, trying to survive the night as she unravels a haunting mystery tied to her own identity and mental state. She also serves as a Creative Development Advisor for Make The Conexion’s documentary, The Heart of the Dream, which exposes the devastating impact of Trump's proposed 2025 mass deportation policies.

Michelle is also the Head of USA Development for BlackBrain Pictures in South Africa, working alongside Mandla N to expand visibility in the U.S. while ensuring global reach for powerful African narratives. A dedicated advocate for impactful storytelling, Michelle continues to bridge entertainment and social justice through film, using her platform to spark meaningful conversations and lasting change worldwide.
